Meet Liz
Hi! I'm Liz Wagner, a speech-language pathologist and owner of Lotus Speech & Language Therapy, PLLC. I earned my Master's degree from Teachers College, Columbia University and have over eight years of experience providing pediatric speech and language services in home and community settings throughout Austin.
I am passionate about helping children build communication skills through individualized, engaging therapy experiences. By providing services in the comfort of a child's home, I can incorporate everyday routines, play, and family involvement to support communication growth in natural environments.
My approach is neurodiversity-affirming and child-centered, recognizing and building upon each child's unique strengths while supporting authentic communication and connection. I have experience supporting children with a variety of communication needs, including speech sound disorders, motor speech disorders, language delays, autism, and fluency differences. I am also a DIRFloortime® provider and offer services in both English and Spanish.
My goal is to partner with families to help children build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and create positive connections in their daily lives.

Specialized Training & Credentials
I am committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in pediatric speech-language therapy. My advanced training includes DIRFloortime®, PROMPT, neurodiversity-affirming practices, and gestalt language processing. I regularly participate in continuing education in autism, language development, motor speech disorders, speech sound disorders, and fluency.

Lotus Speech & Language Therapy is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. This allows for individualized, relationship-based care that is guided by your child's unique strengths, needs, and goals rather than insurance requirements.
A superbill is available upon request for families who would like to pursue potential out-of-network reimbursement through their insurance plan.
Complimentary consultations are available to discuss your child's communication needs and determine whether therapy is the right fit.
